Who We Are

In Japanese, "kokoro" (心) is synonymous with heart, mind, soul, and spirit. Each and every piece is crafted with immense care to create physical beauty, love and intention. As such, "Kokomi"(心愛) is the combination of "kokoro" (心) and "love" (愛) to embody this message.

A Note from the Creator

Hello everyone! My name is Katie - designer and creator behind Kokomi. I give my pieces meaning through the symbolism. After losing my partner to suicide in late 2021 and then my father suddenly to illness in early 2022, I have been creating new pieces that embody symbols of the many lessons learned from that harrowing experience. I want to remind others to be kind, to be positive, and to be present in the life we live. It's far too easy to be paralyzed by our fears or to become complacent in the every day that we forget to live in the moment and appreciate the people and things that we have and love. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to share the happiness and love that goes into each piece with every one of you. Thank you.
